All items sold "as is,. where is" with no guarantees express or implied. All purchases become the responsibility of the buyer when the auctioneer declares them sold and charges them to a number. Big or small, all items become your responsibility when the auctioneer declares them sold.
There will be a $50 Document Fee on any licensed, titled or bill of sales vehicle including trailers and ATV's. For title vehicles at time of check out you will need to make notation of what name goes on title. Title will be sent certified mail please make sure we have correct your address. You will transfer title at your tax office. We will have to assist you in any dealer titled vehicle. You are buying these vehicles as is. We have no way of knowing the road worthiness of these vehicles. You need to take the proper precautions before you put them on the road. You need to make sure you have liability insurance, or have them towed or hauled. Under no circumstances are these vehicles covered by liability insurance. Make sure you have coverage before you leave the yard.
If you need equipment hauled, we can assist you in finding a hauler. Any hauling and transportation is provided by independent contractors who are not affiliated with Switzer Auction Services. You should negotiate your deal with them separately.
Payment must be made on sale day, regardless of when you plan to pick your purchase up. We accept cash or check, with bank letter of guarantee. Sales tax will be collected on all taxable items. Some items do not qualify for farm exemption. If you are claiming farm exemption, you must provide us your Texas Agriculture & Timber Exemption number or you will be required to pay sales tax.
If you are buying for resale, you must provide us a copy of your resale certificate.
